Now do not get me wrong; I love to go on holiday. But here I am, sat at home, doing some work, some research and some writing and I am sweating. Is it sunny outside? No. Is it particularly warm? Not especially. But there is no breeze, heavy cloud cover and it is extremely muggy. Bare in mind that this is in the United Kingdom, in June at 7 o clock at night. Imagine how I would cope abroad, on the equator and in the middle of the day.
I do struggle a little bit abroad when it comes to excessive temperatures. I have to pace myself when it comes to trying to get a tan; while others can sit in the sun and just soak it up I have to move in and out, applying and reapplying sun lotion and trying my best not to sweat it all off at the first sight of the sun.
Is there such a thing as too hot?
