The wonders of the world eh? We talk a lot about the ancient wonders of the world; the things that have been destroyed by war, demolished by man and lost to the annals of time. It is an enormous shame that some of the greatest things ever built by man were also lost to his greed and vengeance. Thankfully we exist in a world that has an enormous amount of natural beauty, and natural wonders, as well. North America, just by the sheer size alone, features a handful of them. Very few of which are more spectacular than the Grand Canyon.
The Grand Canyon itself is carved by the Colorado River, and is located in the state of Arizona. It draws tourists from all over the world, every single day of the year, to admire the stunning views and peaceful nature of the landscape. You can book guided tours along the canyon or, if you are feeling particularly brave, take a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon to get a bird’s eye view.
